With 30 days to the commencement of the Lagos International Trade Fair, the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has taken over the Tafawa Balewa Square venue of the fair on Tuesday, October 3rd even as activities have commenced. The taking over could not be actualized on October 1st as scheduled because it was a Sunday-a non-working day. It could also not be done on Monday, October 2nd, because of the public holiday declared for that day in celebration of our National Day.
Meetings and other logistical activities commenced immediately as necessary preludes to the grand event holding from Friday, 3rd November through Sunday, 1s2thNovember 2017. The taking over of the venue meant that space marking for exhibitors who have paid and space allocation and construction would commence in that order.
